Random Thoughts

I only have about 30 minutes to make a blog entry. Because of the time limit, I can't assure you that I will be sensible enough.

There's only one thing that I learned today...DO NOT belittle open books/notes exams. More or less, you won't be able to use that book or notes anyway. For my part, I borrowed two books that I can use a few das before he exam, and I wasn't even able to open them. *sigh* I do not know what will happen to my score on that exam. I know it is my fault. I didn't study while I have the time. The only consolation I can get is the phrase "I'll do my best next exam..."-->this is exactly my phrase during my ECON11 last semestre. Lucky for me I really got a better grade during that second examination in Econ11. I just don't know if I will still be lucky in ECON101 (FYI:That's the subject where we had an open notes exam...)

I'm trying to make an artwork, but so far I'm not at all inclined to really call it an "art" work. If you know what I mean...

And so far, my hands are really aching because of playing the guitar too much. Oh well, every instrument has its own sacrifices (by Prof. Bien, paraphrase...). Also, I am studying how to do the "plucking", and so far, I'm doing fine. I also know how to read tabs, thanks to Kuya Nikko. Hmmm...what else is there?

I just had a passing thought...it says "nobody is tagging on my tagboard..." but it's not really important...just a passing thought...

What else? I bought a new CD by Sixpence. And I'm planning to buy the compilation of the seven books of Narnia. I really don't kow what's wrong with me. I keep on buying things even if I know that I don't have enough money to sustain me for this month. I'm not even worried that I don't have money anymore...*sigh*

A Song Blog Coming Up!

I am currently working on a song blog. I think it is a goo idea to post the lyrics, and not to mention the chords of some of the songs that I really like. Thanks to Kuya Nikko, I am now a full pledge CCM fanatic. They are really good. Although their songs are not for praise and worship (and I don't think they are intended to be), they are still a good source of inspiration.

Not all people are fond of CCM, even Christian Rock. Well, I can't blame them. I have to admit that I don't like rock music when I was younger but it is just that when I read the lyrics (I'm talking about Contemporary Christian/ Christian Rock Music), I can't deny that they are actually good and they convey messages worthy of attention. Not like any other rock music that I hear nowadays. Most of the time I can relate to the music as if the writer had me in mind when he wrote the song. Asid from the lyrics, I also like the beat of the music, especially the drums. I guess I am really a frustated drumer. *sigh*

I have to encode at least ten songs before I will make my song blog public. I will just link it here to this blog. I still have a long way to go before I finish it...wish me luck!

ang Narnia-The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Although I'm not in the mood to make a review or anything (it's not my style...) I blog this subject because it is really worth seeing. I am also fascinated how the movie reflects the life of Jesus. It is really amazing how C.S. Lewis manifest his faith in his works...

I want to read the other books, so far, I've read the very first book of the Chronicles of Narnia. Hmmm...got to go...got to read...and do academic stuff...

joy that was regained

I am happy that I find joy in reading the bible again. It is shameful to admit but yes, I wasn't able to read the bible the whole period from november to december. I am not doing my quiet time too by then. Needless to say, my spiritual life by that time is totally dried up. Again, I am not proud of it. No wonder I can't find any motivation to do something worthwhile.

But still, God is gracious and kind because at the start of the year, when I saw my bible, I had the conviction to read it and I was joyful. Also I ask for the Lord to help me and give me more perseverance and grace to do the things that I have to do.

I want to finish reading the whole bible book by book. It is just that I find it unfair for God that I was able to read Harry Potter books in one night but still I was not successfull (there have been attempts) in reading the whole bible eventhough I had a bible my whole life...

Also i attended my first bible study tonight (actually, it is my "first" bible study because I've missed the "real" first, second and third bible studies...), i have been a deliquent. I am not always a good christian...tsk...tsk...tsk...shame...

Lastly, I am thinking of a "prayer blog"--actually it will be more of a praise and petition blog. I don't know, have to think about it yet...
