Entered the hallowed halls
Altar of knowledge overflowing
Inside the troubled soul
Self-doubts are setting in

A silent cry in the night
An open Bible at the side
A whisper deep and assuring:
The law will not hinder the promise

A smile, but gladness could not be found
Falling, stumbling to the ground
A whisper, commanding:
Respect my Day, Joy will abound

The end is coming near
Puzzle pieces scattered still
Heart's a havoc, dreading
Make or break, the predator's kill
